I never wanted to be the person who, after being burned once by love, puts up their guard and hardens themselves to the possibility of love. I never wanted to be the person who wasn’t vulnerable or who didn’t put themselves out there. I never wanted to be the person who was scared to jump. But in the end, it’s what I became.
