Faded Reality

Have you ever looked into the vast unknown

and thought it to be a painting?

As if the colors of the sky and the grass

were too muted to be reality?

Out beyond a vast expanse of trees

below their shadowing’s,

a place where the sun sits and

the ground seems illuminated from within.

Where you can’t tell exactly

the substance before you,

and that the whole that’s greater than

it’s parts. The lines faded,

objects blend

one into the next

creating an illusion

that you eyes cannot fathom.
